Part of me thinks that it doesn't seem like 18 years and then I remember that I had just moved back to BR and had a job interview that day with Hibernia Bank. My life was much different at the time.

There is/was a poster here who said that his dad was in one of the towers. I think he was 15 or 16 at the time and I remember him saying that he for a while was able to "pretend" that his dad was gone on a business trip.

I suggest everyone with twitter to follow Ari Fleischer tomorrow. He was president Bush press secretary at the time. He is already tweeting about the events that happened on the 10th. Tomorrow he tweets all about the day as he spent it with President Bush on 9/11. Very surreal to see behind the scenes of that awful day.
