I will not believe anything these people claim without video evidence. Even then, I will question whether the alleged perps are paid actors or not.
They've done this to themselves. The rest of us figured out the boy crying wolf thing when we were like 5 or 6.

What he gains from this is pity and notoriety. He's going to get more money out of this from name recognition, airtime/facetime and may even become a spokesperson for certain groups/products/etc.
