Sixteen felony charges with a federal charge lurking in the background, he's not a likely candidate for the deferring of charges.
LEO doesn't take kindly to false reports, especially one that got so much publicity.

Why are they dropping the charges of 16 counts of whatever because he did 16 hours of service hours and this guys believes he's guilty of everything that he's done?

This could potentially be just as entertaining as the actual case unfolding

I wonder which streaming service is going to win the race to put out the first true crime docuseries on this saga

Pressure to do so I assume.

Can this be overturned in some way?

There has to be a higher ranking official than the SA's office that can do this, right?

There could be some obstruction with justice charges I guess...maybe some sort of collusion

He didn't come out and say point blank that he thought JS was guilty then. That was the point of my link.

Jesse Jackson’s Rainbow PUSH is technically a nonprofit, but it’s a politically based organization. They aren’t going around helping people, unless it’s giving them rides to voting precincts on Election Day.

It’s a shakedown organization. Coincidentally, the last time I heard from them it was during the Duke Lacrosse scandal.

Well, he did essentially do 1 hour of community service for every 30 man-hours spent investigating the fake crime he reported. Seems sufficient to me.

Given how much more he contributes to society... Seems fair.

Uh no.

The official that recused themself because of personal involvement unrecused herself and said his "work in the community" is why he was let off the hook.

Like I said the entire time but yall wouldnt listen. Its not about what you know, but what you can prove in court. A lot of people on this board let other factors influence their opinion on this case. Yes, I think hes guilty, but without tape or an actual text message log this case is basically a he said she said situation.
