This has to be one of the most egregious and exposed examples of corruption of justice in the modern era
People have done worse and gotten less, but it's hard to get more brazen than whatever the frick is happening here

it isnt worth the courts time to pursue this stupidity. i am glad they threw it out. the public ridicule is already enough punishment

NO. you adamantly argued he was innocent and that this type of thing happens on a regular basis in America in 2019. Uh no.
The official that recused themself because of personal involvement unrecused herself and said his "work in the community" is why he was let off the hook. How can you not be outraged about that?
Also...the feds are involved so this isn't going away.

Juries doing jury things is different than a City deciding to apply community service unrelated to a criminal charge, forfeiting bond without a plea agreement and then sealing records after influential folks intervened
This is banana republic shite. Make no mistake, strings get pulled a lot and I know first hand how relationships can influence legal proceedings, but this isn't even done under the guise of normalcy.
