NBC news is beginning to pile on Jussie. They just wrote a large article, mostly re-hash and fluff, explaining why Jussie is probably going to do time.
I am guessing they are now sending out a journalist to gather up a few facts and will follow it with a hard hitting piece.

What could this be?
The brothers were minutes away from testifying to a grand jury that was essentially going to be the 1st step in the Empire dude's indictment.
Then the Empire dude's lawyer made a call and the brothers' testifying was postponed. I don't know shite about the court system, but all I can think of is a settlement type of thing for the Empire dude to pay off the brothers to just go silent.
Am I way off there? What else can it be?

I don't know. I think we're too far down the road for a last minute bribe. It's way too public at this point.
Only thing I can see is that maybe they're considering dropping the charges and letting the feds take care of it.

At this point, this is all going to be a dog and pony show. Sadly, politics will play more of a part in this than criminal proceedings. It’s a fricking sad situation that we are in right now as a country. I have zero faith that this guy will ever be in any kind of trouble
