While I agree let’s be honest here. Democrats don’t have a monopoly on lying to the absolute extreme and convince themselves they are not. The Republicans are every bit as qualified and use this tactic very successfully. Not to hijack the thread.

I'd like some examples where every media outlet, multiple leaders of the Republican party and a shite-ton of conservative celebrities all piled on with outrage that lasted for weeks.

Take out the politics dynamics and this wouldn’t have been much of a story. Doesn’t make any less of a lie and disgusting but it wouldn’t be a 100+ thread without the politics behind it.
