Doesnt matter, he can still kill or injure RG

but I dont think he ever once made gasser fear for his life.

So with the only facts we have now, Gasser looks to be currently guilty of murder, correct?

So just because he's a hot head he's not allowed to fear for his life?
Well, legally he can yes

But it just seems to naw at my common sense that you can potentially start an altercation, than use deadly force to the other party when you now "fear for your life" when the other party is unarmed....

Why are you laughing?

If these are the only facts as of now, than by legal definition, it appears Gasser murdered JM

FACT: JM pulled next to RG car
FACT: Where JM pulled up is not a lane where any car should be
FACT: JM got out his car
FACT: JM approached RG car window
FACT: JM was shot by RG

As the facts are now, there is no reasonable fear for life.

The jurors are gonna have to take in all of the evidence and make a decision on that. I can’t say without knowing more. It looks like manslaughter verdict to me. It’s the easiest verdict for the jury. He doesn’t get no time for those who think he is guilty. And for those who think he is innocent he doesn’t spend his life in jail. Obvi Depends on the makeup of the jury.

As is your speculation that he feared for his life

Truth per LA State law. If JM didn't try to enter the vehicle, it'll be hard for Gasser to get off.

Gasser was charged with physically assaulting someone at this exact same intersection before over road rage

Irrelevant

Admitted into evidence so you'd be wrong.

I mean he literally said it was a guess so..

You can have a disagreement. You dont have to be armed to hurt or kill.

That's a tougher defense given his history and the like 3 mile road rage incident. When you start getting the "reasonable" term thrown around, it's not as easy for Gasser.

can you prove who started the altercation?

if he feared for his life then he feared for his life....how do you know he wasnt fearing for his life?

Crazy arse big black NFL football player that has already cut me off, following me for several miles, pulls up and blocks me in at a red light, exits the vehicle and start walking towards my car and try to enter my car.....yeah....I can see how he feared for his life

Right. Without some evidence of McKnight trying to enter Gassers car, how the hell can there be reasonable fear for his life?

Placebeaux, would you like to answer

Did we all forget the FACT that there was an altercation and tension between the two. Im sorry, I just took that for known fact.

No but if they go down that road, then the 2006 incident makes it very easy to show it wasn't a fear for his life, it was an uncontrollable rage.

They will likely argue JM tried to enter the vehicle because then nothing else matters.

This isnt how it works....

Did he "reasonably fear for his life".

In your definition, we could just kill people and say "they looked at me weird, I feared for my life"

Gasser was the original one who followed McKnight after mcknight cut him off. Per your link earlier

quote:

exits the vehicle and start walking towards my car and try to enter my car.....yeah....I can see how he feared for his life

That isn't fact. If it is, he doesn't need to fear for his life. He only needs to reasonably believe shooting him is the only way he will stop.

Not at all. I copied your list of FACTS by the way.....so blame yourself for leaving that out

Regardless, there previous altercation, in which gasser also chased JM for miles, coupled with gassers previous road rage incident, wont be enough to show "reasonable fear for his life"

They will argue that McKnight tried to enter the vehicle. We will see what happens

Without physical evidence it's going to be tough for him to prove he feared for his life. In my opinion.

JM got OUT his car and its a fact he approached the window because in order to get shot through the window you have to be standing in front of the window. NOW if you look at the photo of the two cars, they are in very close proximity to each other so that tells me he was at the window.

quote:

and try to enter my car.
Well that hasnt been listed as happening yet

I think you have everything mixed up
