Yes - I believe state courts in 48 states require unanimity for felony convictions. Only Oregon and Louisiana allow 10-2 or 11-1 verdicts in a felony trial.

Didn't know this. But ever since I was a kid I thought the all 12 most agree for a guilty verdict to be made was dumb. You can have one loon in the Jury that sends a killer home. Id really like to know vice versa how many innocent people have been saved by this setup vs how many guilty people have got off.
