How has the second thread on this topic reach more than 30 pages? Are there really that many people here that would deny that white people don't still use racial epithets such as this one in describing another race, and openly?

Whites and blacks use it. Whites occasionally, blacks with the frequency. Either it is a "Bad" word or it is not.

Fact is SHE DIDN'T WANT the project. Then she changed mind when it came to light. Gary actually did okay there by raising awareness of lack of interest. But to suggest a Black council member head it up was absurd.

I think you've missed the bigger point here.
Everything they claim to do is in the name of equality, but once people start pushing back at their outrageous claims, they revert back as to why you can't say that because they are black or a woman, etc.
People like that have absolutely NO interest in equality, but rather an interest of being able to dominate the political/cultural landscape free of rebuttal or criticism.
