This was last year at Mardi Gras. The kid is from LaPlace and went to St Charles Catholic. He was drunk at the time of the incident. Did the cop have to beat his arse? No. Did he deserve an arse whipping? Most certainly.
On a side note, he was out drinking at another parade a couple days after the incident.

Does anyone know what the penalties are for Dr. shopping? Is it a small fine and slap on the wrist or Angola?
Will it matter if he shopped in JP and also Orleans or St. Charles?
And last....That kid deserved a small arse whipping, not what he got. It was far beyond the call of duty.

To review, the cop was not in uniform and there are a dozen witnesses. The Cop started yelling and cursing at the group of kids from about 25 yards away. Had he been in uniform nothing would have happened. He may have been arrest for drunkenness but I doubt it. the stories about him throwing up on the way to the office can be explained from the beating he received.
