Jon’s fashion corner: Flipping the swoosh

Nike has recently released two shoes with a flipped swoosh - the Slam Jam Blazers and the Travis Scott Air Jordan 1s. The Slam Jam Blazers had a very limited European release. If you want a pair you will have to pay resell in the $500 range. The Travis Scott Jordan’s had a limited release but are getting a wider release in April.

Both of these shoes get the Jon Ham stamp of approval. You may have recognized the Jordan’s during the Super Bowl halftime show.
And to all you baws who always are like “grown men don’t wear sneakers,” this guy disagrees:
Let this guy be a role model for all you 40+ year olds who feel like you can’t pull off a stylish sneaker. That guy fricks!

My wife's brother bought our 6 month old two pairs of jordans and it might have been the first time in my life I was literally speechless

You should turn them into Christmas tree ornaments or something like that. While being totally impractical, that’s a cool gift.

I disagree. They’ve generated some fun banter and actual conversation on sneakers/fashion. If it’s not your cup of tea I’m sure there’s another pit bull, teacher sex, or complain about other drivers thread on the way.

Yeah, I personally can’t justify paying more than low $100’s on sneakers, but if you can afford it and that’s what you want then have at it.

Yeah I totally appreciated the coin he dropped on them but it was so far out my wheelhouse I didn't really know what to say
