I was watching this and forgot how the whole country came together after the 9/11 attacks.
I was thinking if this would have happened in our present time half the country would be pissed while the other half probably would be celebrating.
It’s just felt weird yet humbling watching that how at that time no matter which side you were on politically everybody cared and was proud to be an American.
It’s just sad to see now what we have become in this country and we let political parties divide us.

I think you’d find, even now, this country would come together.
It’s like fighting with your family. You can fight with em, but as soon as a stranger says something... that stranger is a dead man.

Putin has really kicked our arse lately. Not sure it’s fixable in next 29 years. A lot of old assholes just need to die already

Hillary needs to die first.

Too bad our president at the time was more worried about spying on Fox News reporters instead of election integrity. I believe he said something along the lines of
And as far as Putin, your friends in the EU are doing more to help him than we are. Socialists stick together though.

The fact that the govt has spent the next 18 years bogged up in an endless skirmish in the wrong countries and cost the us so much blood and treasure is part of the reason we’re so divided.

I think you’d be wrong, family is family but outside of that those days are gone especially on a national level.

I was only 11 but I remember it like it was yesterday. Makes you wonder how we have come to what we have come to in only 17 years.

The Left was briefly shocked to their senses by reality and remembered their loyalty was to America. We won’t likely see that again in our lifetime. Now back to never ending outrage and political AgitProp. Lots of racistsexisthomophobes to unearth out there ,

Jon Stewart would be apologizing to Al Qaeda if 9/11 happened in 2018.

I would argue that war with an evil, external enemy is necessary from time to time to keep this country from tearing itself apart.
