Guy you're fricking crazy. My brother is genius level (I'm pretty dumb) and he tutors high performing students in some of the best high schools in the country (NOVA) and there are kids he tutors with stellar academic resumes, 36 on the ACT and get turned down by everyone but VA Tech.

The DEI bullshite is 100% about perceived quotas and not about the best and brightest.

I talk to him about it often. Seriously..one kid from Thomas Jefferson School for Science & Technology with all As and a 36 and the highest AP scores and a great essay. Turned down by 2 Ivies (whatever), Carnegie Mellon, Northwestern, Stanford, UVA, even 2 B1G schools. Only direct acceptance was VA Tech.

White applicants are being denied at a level severally disproportionate to the racial makeup of the country after factoring in their credentials. So yeah, it’s racism.

On the other hand, your people religiously cite to negative statistics such as incarceration rate of blacks as proof of structural racism. To get there, you have to disregard the obvious fact they commit disproportionate crime.

This isnt some conspiracy theory. Its pretty well known the standards are lowered for certain groups.

There are legitimate lawsuits that were ruled in favor of the plaintiffs (Asian students) that prove exactly that.

I’m going with two things here.

First off, the chart in the OP is for “undergraduate admissions.” Everyone yapping about white supremacy in medical school admissions obviously can’t read. That isn’t evidence of white supremacy. It’s evidence of white idiots who wouldn’t qualify for admission to anything.

Second, It is likely true that the pool of highly qualified black candidates is significantly smaller than the pool of highly qualified white candidates. Even assuming equal achievement across all groups (which is impossible) the number of high achieving white students would be higher. But that does not mean that the black students they accept are less high achieving and qualified. When an elite institution gets three times the number of super high achieving applicants than they have desks to fill, then everyone admitted is deserving. Many that are rejected are also deserving.

What this thread is postulating is that white people are superior and “deserve” to be admitted over black students who also meet the stringent admission criteria. This is a false premise. This thread is advocating for white affirmative action.

What the actual date is saying is that black students are superior and "deserve" higher rates of admission solely due to their race.

I thought whites were 72%? Either way, 60 only gets 16% and 7 gets 30%
