John Tyler (born in 1790) still has two living grandchildren

He fathered Lyon Gardener Tyler at age 63 (edit) in 1853 who fathered Lyon Gardener Tyler at age 71 and Harrison Ruffin Tyler at age 75 in the 1920s.
Sounds like a family line of confident men to be cranking out children in their 60s and 70s with younger women.
John Tyler's grandsons

Your post is horribly wrong, or misguided.
The math does not lie.

Are you being sarcastic? The OP is correct. One of them still owns the family plantation in Virginia.
Here they are in 2012:

How can you be born in 1790 and father a child at 61 in 1853?

I figured he was saying the OP was just wrong in general. I didn't bother to look at the math in the OP.

Yeah, I must have hit a one by mistake on my phone. I corrected it.

Did these two dudes knock up some young broad when they were in their 70’s to keep the family tradition alive?

This is one of those logic-defying factoids that amazes me.
My own maternal grandfather was born in the 19th Century - barely. My mother was his 12th child (9th from the second marriage) - I was born when he was approaching 60. He lived to see 24 grandchildren and half a dozen or so great-grandchildren. Now, most, not all of those descendants are still alive, but he was born over 100 years after John Tyler who has 2 living grandchildren.

That's amazing. I hope I'm not changing diapers in my 70s.
