Pull his emergency powers. Let the Congress show us who runs this state. I'm sure they're not a bunch of little sissies letting this goofy looking clown punk them.

I guess the admins didn't like me posting the name of the guy that wrote the article.

Maybe Blake Paterson should clarify which information he deems is misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines.

A whole lot of doctors more qualified than Dr. Kantor spoke today.

House Speaker and Senate President go out on stage tomorrow in front of the media.

If JBE and LDH proceed with this policy the Louisiana Legislature this spring will have no recourse but to cut $500,000,000 from the LDH budget for the next fiscal year. There will be no negotiation on that number once this starts. 50% plus one will be all that is needed. No veto threat necessary as no line item that would apply.

He was the one to expand Medicaid. He can figure out how to pay for it.

Pretty simple really. Most of the people impacted are alive and dead Dems

I'll believe that when I see it, but I hope they finally play hardball. Then we'll see what kind of legal twister game JBE plays to get what he wants anyway, which is the most likely scenario, but it's time the opposition plays whatever cards they have.

The GOP in state legislature is a bunch of pussies. They bend over and take it... useless frickers.

My kid is not getting the vaccine, period. He's been tested with a high level of antibodies from an asymptomatic infection over the summer and is healthy.

frick you JBE!

The legislature will be spurred by public outrage to call a veto session. The press will make much hubbub about it, there will be tweets and press conferences by state legislators about doing the will of their voters and then... they'll fail to override it.

Never underestimate the gutlessness of your average GOP legislator. If the NYT/WaPo/CNN calls them mean-spirited or racist, they all fold like cheap tents.

“Republican” legislators will cave and sustain the veto. Gutless stupid pigs. They only want to slop out of the public trough.
