Admit it, you didn't watch the videos, and you are being fed your opinions by r/politics. The truth of the matter is that this barbaric practice is incompatible with the ethics of western society, and Jindal and the social conservatives will be on the right side of history with respect to this issue.

Am I the only one that doesn't care at all one way or the other about this? I've gone my whole life without feeling the desire to visit these monuments so it would be kind of hypocritical for me to feel outrage over them being taken down (or being kept up for that matter).
