The Tote Board is what amazes me. I’ve been to this persons house a few times. The channel is always on and that board is always there. Weekends. Holiday weekends. Yesterday which was a random Monday. It’s a never ending Tele-thon.

People have asked if these folks were adults and happy. Yes on both counts. But this family member is elderly. Her finances are watched by my wife. So she only gives what amounts to a tithe (sp?) but would probably give more if unchecked. Many folks do not have such a person.

People were “happy” in Jonestown too. Until the kool aid started flowing. Swaggart is not insane like Jones. He is about money. The dead can’t pay. But he will take every last dime from people. Some of whom are too old to make good decisions.

See the thing about their money it THEY can do whatever THEY want with it.

The bigger question is why are you not at YOUR own house watching what you want on YOUR TV?

Not offended at all.
But you on the other hand seem really put out about what other people do with their money and what they watch on their tv’s.

Swaggart is an amateur compared to Jim and Tammy Faye Bakker. Check them out.

An ex-girlfriend and I went to see him on a lark while in school at LSU. It was an Easter Sunday. After two hours and no sign of Jimmy letting up, we left and got loaded.

I used to get a kick out of watching ole Dr. Gene. He actually made a little sense once in a while.
