I was in Syracuse for aboot a week in 1990. I got into my hotel elevator one evening and he did too. They had won and were having a victory party at my hotel. I said, "your boys played tough tonight, Coach." He ignored me and immediately just looked down at the floor.
I thought it was a dick move on his part and always pull for him to lose. I guess I should feel lucky he did not run me down like a dog in the street.
