. It was no secret that Jessica was also involved with several drug dealers and rival gang members over the last few years. Her house was shot at a few weeks before she was killed. This is a town that has a population of 500 people
Kinda hard to believe that their is this level of gang and drug activity in a town of 500.

Location, location, location.
On a major interstate.
An hour from Memphis
A half hour from a major college town
and most importantly, corrupt local law enforcement that will look the other way if the price is right.

Decatur, MS. Small town but where lots of drugs flow through.
Years ago they busted the sheriff because he was protecting the drug kingpin, who was a family member.

1) This dude connected to these girls or just a serial killer?
2) Sounds like a good premise/setting for True Detective Season 3.
3) people on here are stupid and watch too much Law and Order/CSI, etc...they have been bitching about how corrupt(they may be) and incompetent(again, they may be) local law enforcement is. But this is not TV. shite doesn't get solved and wrapped up in a tidy bow in 46 minutes. If they got this dude in a year, that's nice work. In the real world.

Why was he released early every time he was in prison? That's the problem.
What's the connection between that tPOS and the victim?

He's connected to Chambers. They grew up in the same neighborhood.
I don't know anything about the Northeast exchange student.
Sure are some sick mofos out there.

Yeah, I was just looking at a map to see where this is. I am sure I55 is pretty major drug corridor.

He stabbed to death a 34 year old Chinese exchange student. This guy gets the death penalty in two states. I say let Mississippi have him. He'll die at Parchman, hopefully sooner than later.

Drug hookup? Motive?

Parchman released him 1 year into a 5 year sentence.
If not, 2 girls would be alive.

Exactly.
That's the fricking problem with our courts. We shouldn't let these animals out early.

If I read correctly, he received 2 more sentences after being released from Parchman and didn't serve much of those either.

To be somewhat fair, from what I read he hasn't been charged for this (yet). Not that I'd be surprised.

ou guys are probably right. But I would have to fight some serious temptations to at least try. We're talking about a man's daughter being doused in gasoline and set on fire. That has to be one of the worst ways to go out. I'd be filled with all sorts of rage.
Yeah. I'd kill that motherfricker. But I'd have to make to torture his arse first. I'd have to know 100% that he was the guy. Would feel like shite if I tortured and killed the wrong dude.
Posted on 2/23/16 at 8:21 pm to SmackoverHawg
That fricker might as well hang himself. I'd be surprised if he lives more than a year.
