With the the number of videos pornhub receives it simply isn't possible to screen every one. Twitter, fb, yt, ig, pretty much every platform has this problem. Even with teams of people who work on fixing it don't catch everything. Better software could help with the issue but it will likely catch innocent videos in the process.

i think it's possible to "consume it every day" and not be "addicted"
the question is if he can go a period of time without it. habits and addiction have overlap but aren't the same thing in all cases

this isn't about that. an abundant society + easy access to things that can have negative effects if over-consumed are major issues today
too much porn fricks people up, and "too much" isn't some incredible amount (so the "water can kill you, too!" argument isn't there). it's not just about protestantism, b/c the same issue applies all over (attention, general stimulus, blue light, food/sugar, etc. all are in the same boat as porn)

That's what I thought when I glanced at the thread yesterday. You had to go through a lot to get porn in my day and it was a goldmine if pops had some stashed away. I can't imagine being fourteen and having access to the hub. It has to be messing up kids and I feel bad for girls if there is an expectation in dating they should be doing some of this stuff.

I play the odds. He’s likely watching for significant amounts of time, watching multiple scenes (because his brain is no longer satisfied with one). Someone who is watching so much is likely seeking out more extreme forms too. Most porn platforms, such as pornhub, are always pushing more extreme forms front and center (e.g., incest).
It’s weird that so many of you choose this despicable industry as a “freedom” hill to die on.
And save me your stupid religious arguments. I’m not religious at all, and I do not demonize sex in general.
