Agreed

There were actually storylines, although cheesy, they made sense and it wasn’t demeaning to women.

Yep. I remember getting a few of those as a young lad. I always checked the mail.

I thought frequent masturbation was good for the prostate

I'm 42 and the best you could do is find one in your buddies dad's closet on VHS or betamax, watch it and carefully return it.

We found a stash of porn mags in a neighbor's trash once and kept them in our clubhouse in the woods for years. We definitely didn't have exposure to it like kids do now.

So basically the evolution of porn for teenage boys is:

- find a porn mag
- find a porn tape
- scrambled Cinemax
- download a porn image in 3 hours
- the naive golden age of internet porn
- wherever the frick we are now

That's an edited clip where she was talking about how child predators are so sneaky and sometimes appear so nice that kids don't even know anything ..

If you wack off to porn 3 times or more a week, you're a porn addict. I'm willing to bet 80% of this board does that.

Sorry about your Low T, dawg.

I didn't really have internet until I was a freshman in college and already getting laid. We definitely had the scrambled Spice channel though

I am so far behind the times that my porn as a teenager in the 80's was my moms Cosmopolitan Magazine. I studied the hell out of the articles about what women want in the bedroom.

And early internet porn you either had to pay for or it would give your computer aids. This free, unlimited stuff has been around 10 years maybe?

Porn really should be addressed.

The acceptance and massive amount of on demand porn in America is not healthy or normal no matter how much people want to pretend it is.

And even if you aren’t religious at all, you should be able to admit porn to the excess we consume it in America is not healthy. At all.

Not only is this never addressed but any attempt to address it is met with immediate pushback.

The porn industry wields more power than anyone cares to admit.

From a morality perspective, I agree with you.

From a constitutional perspective, not a chance it happens.

No. It should be or should have been removed immediately. And the people who watched it should be tracked down and arrested.

Because they obviously knew that it was something illegal.

Think just a second before posting.

Not a chance what happens?

I didn’t advocate for any legal action.

It is not the government’s job to legislate mortality or save us from ourselves.

You want to eat ultra refined sugar foods, fried fat, smoke a pack of cigarettes, drink a fifth of vodka, and jackoff 30 times a die until your heart explodes or you die a sad and lonely death? You have the legal right to do so.

But having the legal ability to do something and society accepting that thing are vastly different.

Just because something is legal does not at all make it good or even acceptable.

But there is a massive push in current society and much of the last decade, that we must accept anyone’s decisions because it’s their right to make them.

I find that line of thinking absolutely insane.

The government should not be able to legislate you how to live. But society should absolutely be able to judge your decisions. That’s the consequence and necessity and burden of a free society.

The end of fat shaming and the fat positivity movement is just one example of something the government should stay out of but society should fight against. A generation of obese children raise by obese parents under the motto “do whatever you want, it’s your right to be insane” is horrible. And the speed with which we accepted that as normal is nerve racking to me.

Sexual deviancy is another example. No, I don’t think the government should ban all porn. But I don’t think society should just accept and promote it either. Porn addiction is a very real thing, and chronic masturbation is not healthy. Its support and even open advocation is pathetic and evil.
