Finally I just had to say sir if price is that important maybe you should consider a Traverse instead of a Tahoe. He gets mad lol

The Jeep owner community lost a lot of respect with “It’s a Jeep thing, you wouldn’t understand”. That’s the moment Jeep transformed from a rugged and cool alternative type vehicle to an unreliable, electronic system pos, ugly woman, lesbian, rubber duck collecting, cringe worthy, dorky, old man wannabe, stereotype.

I live in Florida, I care not what the jeep haters think.

There are a lot of cringe people in the so called jeep "culture" though.

I have actually never taken the doors or the top off of my Jeep.

I'm not a big fan of the ducks, either.

What is the deal with the ducks? I see Jeeps all the time with Ducks lined up on the dash.

i mean, a company coins something and we're all guilty, i guess. but i get your point.

a real jeep is just a jeep. 4 door is practical, 2 door very unpractical. but all are wicked fun to drive and own. not as nice as some vehicles, but they've been changing that for the interiors wildly over the last 2 iterations (jk/jl).

still, they can do all the things they use to be able to do and more. minus be rained on with the top off.

unreliable, electronic system pos,

The newer models actually have pretty decent engines and transmissions, especially by modern standards. For a while there they really crapped the bed though. The 3.6L V6 is naturally aspirated (which is nice nowadays) and can last a long time if you take care of it and don't drive it like an absolute dickhead like a good chunk of jeep owners do

Dude, it’s shaped like a brick. What do you expect? They are slow af.

This is my first jeep, and I’ve enjoyed it enough. I don’t do ducks. I try to take it off road as often as possible. It’s fitted with shite that will allow off-road success, nothing else. 2D 6MT. It’s a jeep.

I've owned a YJ since 1998 and i cant stand most modern Jeeps or their drivers.

actually, new Jeep people hijacked that from old Jeep people. i used to see it on bumper stickers of an old CJ or YJ with no top in the pouring rain and the driver not giving a frick. now someone buys a new Jeep that is not all that different from any other SUV as far as comfort and accessibility, then they slap that stupid motto on there like they're driving an old WW2 Willys or something. it's fricking gay.

modern jeeps are way more capable but they are soulless and infinitely less cool.

Dumb video. I take the doors and top off my jeep quite a bit. I only care about the thoughts of me enjoying the beautiful day, other Jeepers, and women checking me out (when I was single)

Why do you ask?

Pointing something out as dumb and laughing at it does not equate to being threatened by it.

Others we do this with:
- Fat people
- Democrats

Threatened by neither.

This thread seems to suggest otherwise. And just know, whether fair or not, the very first thought most men have seeing a Jeep is that it is a lesbian vehicle.

People put them on your door handle sometimes. Even if you don't do it, eventually you'll have a collection of them whether you want to or not

They make a bunch of different kinds. I got a pack of some that look like Mallard decoys for the kids to give to people if they put one on ours, but I won't keep them on my dash because 1) I don't want to give that kind of vibe 2) they will melt in Florida lol

What is your definition of old vs new…because this was a thing going back 30 years ago…primarily with overweight lesbian looking women.

I don't think these people calling Jeep owners gay realize what kind of cheat code simply having a jeep and not being a weirdo was in college

"Sorority girls like them" oh no, how awful
