Question: (can't understand)
Answer: Phased appraoch for reopening economy .. before phase 1 got to meet threshhold (hospital capacity, case growth over 14 day period - 14 due to natural cycle of coVID). WE don't meet the req but we're moving in right direction. By may 1 I (JBE) htink we'll be in the situation but keep doing what we need to do.

That's huge if he thinks we'll be ready for phase 1 by 5/1

Where are the dumbfricks who told us JBE would be pushing this out 120 more days?

Are those hospital gowns? They look pretty sharp. I think that's the mannequin they use to show special uniforms.

Case growth is flat and will keep coming down.
It won't be flip a light switch -- very different look -- require individuals who are wanting to reengage to do certain things. MAintain sd for a while, more wearing masks, cashier may have mask, rstaurant waiter may have mask and tables won't be close.
I can't tell you today when that will happen .. key things to have in place is testing in a robust way, contact tracing capacity in a robust way. Continuously monitor for spikes isolate individuals that came into contact with thoe positive.
A lot of work to do. We're working hard. New guidance coming out from CMS as well. Using "Best judgement" (uh oh)

Can't hear question: JBE though we don't meet threshold for phase 1. DO WAHT WE ASK YOU TO DO. Stay home. Practice good hygiene. SD when in public (social distance)

Next week maybe we'll be in a different place.

Low grade from social distancing comes from entities that use date from cell phones from GPS info adn they know which parishes are actually doing the best job and not travelling.
Some areas extremely well (NOLA) and others not so much. Easter weekend people lost focus and we'r etrying to get that back.
Don't want to risk overloading the capacity of healthcare. (we're not close as far as LDH website shows, right???)

Refocus be patient and do what we're asking you to do so that we can reopen certain segments sooner.
That app has been helpful (per JBE)
Lafayette did fully consistent with current stay at home order .. (did I hear that right?). Gray areas that JG opened are fully consistent with current order.
JBE supports any stronger requirements that JG may put in place.

Still on for me. Praising Trump now for the way he approached it by leaving the onus on the governors for re-opening and providing the guidance.

Reading your summaries (thanks for doing that), it sounds to me we are expecting to open up to phase 1 on May 1, and then June 1 to be in phase 3.

I'm not as good as you
Lots of talk about vaccine need, antibody testing, etc being crucial to the reopening happening sooner rather than later.
Talking now about PPE shortages. Demand will increase going forward as they're going to re-open the clinics, outpatient facilities, etc that were closed to allow PPE to go to the COVID healthcare workers
