It’s complete BS & I hope businesses continue to do as they please

Just yesterday some scared old fart posted in our neighborhood FB group complaining about a local restaurant not practicing social distancing properly. Several people were responding telling him to report the place and making comments about being scared to go there.

I so badly want to know when they feel it will be proper to allow restaurants to operate normally. If you do it now or three months from now it's not going to matter.

What about letting bars and restaurants open fully so they can actually make a real profit? And allowing for concerts and festivals down here by the fall is kind of important for our economy.

Everything already open gets capacity increase with less restrictions
The only “new” thing is nursing homes

I have heard that some restaurants have already re-closed in Baton Rouge
(IE: Chimes) due to new outbreaks of Covid stemming from Tigerland.

Not sure how true, but could be a hint of things to come.

I think most places are doing what they want, as long as they have the staff

The 600.00 federal money is good through July 31st, some places may still have trouble hiring

Definetly no phase 3 anytime soon.

Excuse will be, "have to see how much the numbers continue to rise under Phase 2".

As we test more people, the numbers will continue to go up, and then they eventually will go down, that's when we will go to phase 3.

Yeah if I have 100 friends over for a party that are around my age, not one of them will be dying from the Covid.

Two more weeks of phase 2 and a lecture how we all need to do a better job and that gatherings of 10 or more are discouraged but protests of 100 or more are just fine.
