From the first report where bars were RECOMENDDED TO CLOSE
RIGHT HERE, FOR ALL LNCHS GLORY, THE ENTIRE STATE WAS RECOMMENDED TO CLOSE and the entire state was a RED state.
Looky looky looky there, the Whitehouse also recommended we decrease restauraunt capacity back down to 25% for the entire state as well
It was not until august when it was only recomended for red parishes

When the task force guidelines were first discussed here, only certain parishes were in the red (further lockdowns) Not the whole state.
so just did some research and you are both correct and wrong here
at no point was the entire state red, but there were multiple reports where the entire state was red and yellow
at one point we did have 62 out of 64 parishes as red though
you are wrong, however, in that even in yellow, the WH task force recommends reducing gyms to 25% and closing bars, which is further lockdowns

I will NEVER understand how anyone could ever vote Democrat.

I’m sure Lnch wouldn’t have cared at all if the Obama admin was recommending Louisiana lockdown further. Just a little recommendation who cares right salmon?
Not speaking for Lnch, but I wouldn't have cared about any Obama recommendations either. In fact, I didn't. Crappy school lunch recommendations - I was pissed at school for choosing to follow, not Obama for making the recommendations (despite the fact that I strongly opposed his policies in general).
As I posted previously about Missouri, the task force guidelines and recommendations are just that. The governor can choose to follow them, not follow them, or do whatever he wants. Generally speaking, the task force will support whatever decision the governor makes. They vocalized their opposition to Georgia re-opening super early, but supported it as Georgia's decision to make.
What the governor chooses to do is the GOVERNOR's responsibility and he holds 100% of the blame for all this stupidity.

I am not caught up, but I'm guessing people here are upset that JBE is lifting restrictions and are making a bunch of speculations about it?

Kinda got off on a tangent
Current discussion is more about whose to blame for the stupidity, with the majority thinking we should be 100% open.

I will NEVER understand how people can blindly vote for party over person.
If you break it down to a personal level. Let's say an elected official who is the same party as you. They have an opportunity to help one of two people. There is you, the loyalist who will vote for him/her no matter what and then there is the down the middle guy who could go either way.. Who are they helping?
They already got you so if they decide to help you there is a chance the down the middle person goes the other way. Or they can help the down the middle guy, increase the chances of gaining their support while still having yours.
That's why I think its crazy for states to be a blue or red state. Politicians are politicians, party don't really matter because special interest is what really runs things, but politicians can decide who they will help and how much so keep them on a swivel and have to work for you to earn your vote.
