It is cut and dry. The problem is when lawyers and judges get involved. Anyone who passed 3rd grade English can read the bold part and tell you what either and majority means. Under King JBE though either now apparently means both.

For the record, numerous names on that petition were pressured into signing it and are already crawfishing. You will see soon enough how much of a waste of time the petition was.

Landry wrote an opinion for them in July. I'd hardly call that a rush to push it forward. This fight should have happened back in the summer if Clay Schexnayder wasn't a JBE puppet. We would have been out of this for months. The legislature gave the governor emergency powers but put a checks and balances clause in it for this specific instance. King JBE has let the power go to his head so much that he cant understand basic English. It truly is sad that we have let the governor of LA act like a dictator.
