25-50% of patients being asymptomatic makes this pandemic extremely troubling to JBE
I dont fricking get that. To me, as long as hospitals arent being overrun, the fact 50% of people with the virus dont even get sick makes this virus pandemic a fricking joke

Did he just say our positivity rate is 14%? Is he talking cumulative now?
I believe he is referring to a period of time before the 24th, ya know, right before the numbers started looking good.
Gee, I wonder why he cherrypicked those dates.

You're not trying to keep a state shut down though.

Yeah its the exact opposite. If a huge number are asymptomatic that is a good thing. We are much closer to herd immunity than projected.

We haven't had a percent positive test rate higher than 14% since April 9th so again where does that number come from?
Posted on 7/30/20 at 2:44 pm to lsupride87
We're going back to Phase 1, according one of our local politicians.

he say anything different than the last 25 pressers?

One reason is delay of testing. Cases are measured on date of test not on date of submission.
Everyone looks at the numbers posted daily on this site as what the daily numbers are. Those numbers aren't adjusted to day of test and day of death.
