Jesus. The Russians literally stacked missiles in Cuba. A sitting President was killed by a man who defected to the Soviet Union a few years previous. A plane was being highjacked on American soli by foreign nationalists a half dozen times a year through out the Seventies. We had a war in Korea, a war in Vietnam, and a forty year Cold War

We have had numerous terrorist type events including a black militant shooter on the roof of a hotel about a half mile from where last nights murders took place. Who by the way killed 15 people. Sound familiar?

Our Nations history is littered with attacks from within by both foreign and domestic enemies. 9/11 wasn't some recent phenomenon that woke us up from sixty years of bliss. And last night was just a continuation of those events that happened to hit a lot closer to home.

Hell landshark when you and I were young there were known live car bombs everywhere like the ford Pinto, Pacer etc. Rear end collision and they blew up like a bomb

Bizarrely, the cops said in the press conference that the fact it was a cyber truck greatly reduced the impact of the explosion as it went straight up and didn’t even break the front entrance glass at the hotel, so that was an epic fail. Those poor car owners are screwed too by the damn terrorism exclusion clause in the their insurance policy.

Absolutely. Let's just think for a second the potential of what could've happened. If the lift doesn't stop him he just continues down bourbon mowing people down. At the rate of speed he was going anyone in the street would have little chance of getting out the way unless they saw it coming. Even then there's no guarantee like the poor girl in the video.

So then what does he do from there? Start making blocks through the quarter running down anyone in the way? Or at this point he would've been so far ahead of police he could've got out and started just shooting people before police could take him out. Or potentially flee to other areas to do more damage.

Pray for the victims but thank goodness he smashed into that lift because it save A LOT of lives.

Going to bed but kudos to newsnation for calling out FBI for all the conflicting statements they have made like

1) likely more people involved, it was 3 men and a women involved then they were not, multiple IEDs found but no information on who planted them etc.

Definitely doesn’t instill confidence
