Your loved ones our out at 3am wasted on bourbon? Probably a teachable moment here.

Are you aware that today is New Years Day and last night was New Years Eve?

Good chance that there are tourist in town because of that and some football game today.

Yeah, I think covering the flag was the right move. They aren’t trying to hide/deny it was there, and I’m sure we’ll eventually find out what the flag was.

Let’s assume it was an ISIS flag. Would anyone here want to work an active scene under a raised ISIS flag? I sure wouldn’t.

Not saying it is not an ISIS flag, but not sure you can say that it is based on that.

Certainly is a flag under it, maybe the views I have seen just haven't shown the flag.

If written in Arabic likely no one knew what it said, although they surely had all the context clues they needed.

You need to just be banned. Your false equivalences are poorly timed and dumb. Move to another thread.

You’re not convincing anyone in this thread, so your knowledge is falling on deaf ears. Reddit seems more your speed.

I just watched the video of Teedy saying it was terrorism and the look by the leader of State Police next to her says it all. He and the NOPD Chief look around as if Teedy did exactly what they were told not to do. Well I give respect to her for not following the feds narrative and telling the truth. How this can be called anything but a terrorist attack is beyond me. Now the actors or actor behind it can be disputed at this point but this is exactly what a terrorist attack is. frick the feds and their cover ups

I believe terrorist acts are investigated by the Feds and triggers certain bureaucratic protocols. State Police likely wanted to avoid calling it terror so they can maintain jurisdiction

Thank God the playoff game is the late one today. I don’t think the city could handle this incident plus staffing the 11AM game had that occurred. Not that football matters compared to this, but resources would’ve been stretched incredibly thin.
