They’ve fired their ad agency for that abomination of a commercial they did, but its too late.
They should fire the people that green lighted putting this commercial on TV, more so than the people that created it.

Yet, ad agencies will keep hiring vapid white women fresh out of college.
Who live in Manhattan or San Fran. As do their focus groups so they're all out of touch.
Madison Avenue should be closed down and advertising agencies should start up in baw country.

strongly disagree, Jaguar was great through 80/90s until the early mid 2000s..
Sure, reliability has always been an issue, but the same could be said about 1980s era Ferraris.

Not surprising. Jacksonville Jaguars have sucked for years

Whenever I see something that stupid, I think of the forgotten Eddie Murphy film Boomerang where a distracted Murphy gives one of his employees total autonomy to create a cosmetics ad.
The resulting ad is something like a giant monster giving birth to the cosmetics.

That commercial is like an episode of sprockets.

Reminds me of some old classmates of mine who kept wondering why their French marketing professor kept talking about “frick-us groups”.

Nah. High maintenance? Sure. But they were good looking and high performance cars. People who bought them usually didn't care about the cost to maintain. The XKR was a fun vehicle.

The fact they went all electric didn’t help either….

They might as well keep the ad company. The people that greenlit the ad had enough power to do so. That's how out of touch the company was. Also, It's not like Jaguar was ever a big hitter in the US, you'll see even less of them now.

Ehhh, that’s a big stretch. Jag was never a great car brand, maybe “iconic” in a way. They’ve been problematic for decades,….but definitely stylish!

Man, you crazy. A very seasoned mechanic once told me…if you must by Jaguar, by two. One for the spare parts you’ll need.

Yep. They aren’t even making anything yet.
They are shifting to some weird new model.

The Indian executives at Tata Motors apparently believed the advertising company that America was really that fake and gay.

In its prime, Jaguar was mentioned along side Ferrari and Maserati in sports cars and racing. As mentioned reliability was an issue, but nothing out of the norm of 70/80s Ferraris that get a pass. As with many luxury car onwers, most are not concerned with reliability (Range Rover).
That's like saying Toyota is not a great company because they make bland, boring, outdated tech (Land Cruiser/4Runner) vehicles that are very reliable.

They were always terrible cars mechanically speaking.

They stopped making vehicles altogether back in November 24. They are transitioning the ultra luxury one vehicle approach.
