My coworkers were discussing this. One of them said they read in another article that the woman returned the next day to apologize to the zoo for her actions and to apologize for any bad press the zoo got because of this, that it was her fault for her foolish actions.

Injured and death by selfies is a real thing today. The “hey look at me” mentality has reached full retard status.
The wildlife world lady being interviewed is pretty damn hot.

they should've asked if she wanted to take a selfie with a Tiger

Like the two tourists who fell off the top of a mountain ledge in Yosemite
That lady who got in the jaguar enclosure got her arm severely gashed. looked pretty gruesome. A lesson she won't soon forget.

The animal doesn't deserve to die although now it has a taste of human blood.
The woman was stupid and should be banned from the zoo. Those barriers are there for a good reason.

This is a fascinating case study. Grown woman risks death so she can get 12 likes on social media. She’s lucky to be alive.

That Jaguar didn't go crazy. That Jaguar went Jaguar!

When my kids were young we went to different zoo's all the time. I never saw an attack but at the Atlanta zoo about 15 years ago a group of about 3-4 unaccompanied kids were throwing pebbles and sticks at a chimpanzee. I was about 10 feet from them when SPLATT one of the kids got hit right in the face with a two pound turd.
Thank God the chimp had good aim. I laughed at the kids, and even saw the receiver later in the day and asked him did the "Chimp Poo" taste like chicken. He was not amused but he friends thought it was funny.

The jaguar that attacked an Arizona woman -- who jumped a barrier to snap a selfie with the feline -- will not be euthanized, zoo officials said Sunday.
Better not be. Didn't do anything wrong.
