When has legality ever stopped a progressive liberal with an agenda?

I don’t know where he’s originally from, but you got part of that right.

Does Mississippi not have it written in their state constitution that it can't be suspended during a state of emergency?

Why is it suspendable at all? It's a fricking constitutional right.

Banning open carry will surely solve the problem of gangbangers hiding guns in their wastebands.

This will be shot down with a quickness.

Plus, without even looking at the story, I'm 99% confident that the two cases of murdered children had nothing to do with open carry.

I think the good mayor has grown weary of seeing his brothers and sisters shoot his brothers and sisters. At the moment he seems to be trying whatever he thinks might work, since nothing else seems to help.

IMO some folks have forgotten the sixth commandment applies to everyone, believer or not.

Oh sorry - I don't live in Jackson, so the ban does not apply to me. Sadly it will likely also be ignored by those who think any problem can be solved by killing whomever you have a problem with.
