They're leading the country in total official snowfall this season.

Pretty decent place to stay...You're right next to Teton Village and JH Ski Resort.

Also, make sure you ask the bars if they have Koltiska 90. If they do, take multiple shots.

Depending on how long you are there, drive across the pass into Idaho. Nothing to do other there, but in the winter, the drive over the pass in pretty awesome. If you drive into Idaho and continue for about five miles or so, there are some awesome views of the Tetons. Round trip may take you a few hours from Jackson but its beautiful.

It's not quite like fireball...it does have a cinnamon kick. It's based off an old polish liquor. Vashooka. They distill it in Sheridan, Wyoming

There is only one good cinnamon liquor, and it's called AfterShock.

I wonder if they still make it.

We spent a week there this past summer in a cabin apparently next door to dick cheney's. I want to go back to ski though. The town is a blast, some interesting food choices that we never see down south like buffalo.

Sweet water cafe is a great lunch spot...I recommend the elk melt with au jous. Gun barrel good casual dining....the Grannery for something a little more upscale.

My daughter lived there for 3 years, working as a ski lift operator, waitressing at Mangy Moose and the Cadillac (I think it's closed now or is something else). These are their favorite places when they go back now:

Mangy Moose - the famous apres ski bar in Teton Village. T
Teton Thai - for some reason, the best Thai food we've ever had is tucked away in Teton Village.
Osteria - delicious Italian food and wine in Teton Village.
Snake River Brew Pub - a locals favorite for food and brews in Jackson. Get the beer sampler tray!
Rendezvous Bistro - our favorite place for dinner in Jackson.
Snake River Grill - okay we lied, this is our favorite spot for dinner in Jackson. It's a tie!
Cafe Genevieve - our favorite place for breakfast in Jackson.
Local - a great spot for dinner and cocktails right on Jackson's Town Square.

I think a place is called D.O.G. Burrito. Best breakfast burrito I've ever had. I still think about it and how good it was even though it was about four years ago.

It's been 10 years since we went there, so I don't remember very much about the town other than some western bar in the main square that had horse saddles as their barstools. But I will tell you to this day, it is the best skiing/snowboarding I have ever experienced and I have been to pretty much every major resort in Colorado and New Mexico over the past 30 years.

Have fun!

ETA: FYI, the Moose antler archways you see that leads into the town square's Central Park were constructed by my stepmother's dad. I know, CSB.
