This is true. What I have found is that you just have to be above that and simply do your thing be yourself with full confidence. If not a match great if not screw it. I find the women are really clingy and stinking of desperation. In fact that whole age group of late 30’s-mid 40’s women seems that way to me. They latch on and act like they are shizzat.

I never did the app deal; just met them through friends or whatever.
I couldn't relate to all the bad relationships, as my marriage was pretty great.

The apps are like anything else, you have to learn how to use them. But, it seems, with every passing bad encounter or waste of time someone has on a date, they become less likely to meet or engage someone else. You can meet some really, really quality people on the apps though. I did.
