I read Ecclesiastes one day and found a ton of truth in the fact that everything here is bound by time and most things we engage in are pretty meaningless.

That things are bound by time in this life, that by that very fact it makes everything we do ephemeral in nature, is precisely why this life is so special.

Remove the bounds of time and everything loses meaning. Whether you spend eternity in hell of eternity in heaven, our minds can’t comprehend that. We can’t even say the same word ten times in a row without it getting weird. Imagine getting poked by the devil or running through an open field with the sun on your face for 100 years. Or a thousand. It all becomes pretty pointless after a bit I imagine.

Make the most of this one. It’s the only one we got. It’s what makes life so special.

I’ve looked at life from both sides now .It's life's illusions I recall
I really don't know life at all

I can appreciate your perspective while I disagree with a few points. I’m not sure that the brevity of life automatically translates to meaning. I think if we are to experience life eternal, it would be outside of created time and thus our interpretation of or experience of eternity can’t be compared to our linear universe where time is experienced rolling down a timeline.

Best advice so far is to take acid. If it were me though, I'd try microdosing mushrooms. Although it kind of sounds like you need an ego death, maybe skip the standard stuff and try DMT.

And when you’re done with doing that you’re back at square one. That is a substitute for what’s really lacking in your life. Just like drinking it creates more problems instead of solving them. Been there, done that.

Either you’ve done too much or not enough.

You can frame it as maturity or “I’ve seen it all”, but it’s not fooling anyone. You’re just covering up you lack curiosity and sense of adventure and dressing it up as sophistication. I doubt you've tried anything new or fun in years, and I would guess that your social circle is very small. Therefore the boredom. All because years ago you took on the “too cool for school” facade because you were afraid of putting yourself out there. Trust me, the “I’ve seen it all” is not a great personality trait, mainly because it’s phony and people see right through it. And because the “I’m too deep for this planet and all the people on it” shtick is right out of the loner guy starter pack.

So stop watching TV all day, get out of your Laz-y-Boy, and go do something.

Life is God given and should be viewed as a precious opportunity.
If you see it any other way, I suggest that you start with reading the Gospel of John and work through Acts, Romans and Galatians.
Along the way, you should begin to see things differently.
