I've given up on iPad and all tablets

I was going to get the next generation of the iPad Pro but not now. It has become almost impossible to surf the web and read any article without that site having to constantly reload! I have the iPad 2 and surfing the web is a nightmare!
Not an issue at all on my eight year old iMac. IPad for web surfing sucks big time!

It's the age. That ipad is almost unusable. Get an air 2 or pro.

Must be user error. I don't have any of these problems. Of course, I mainly use Android devices to surf.

Netscape keeps crashing on my Compaq as well. Very frustrating

The problem you described would be fixed by the Pro (or Air/Air 2). Your 8 year old iMac has more memory in it to handle larger page sizes than an iPad 2.
