back in the early 1990's up until 2000's or so I would go in atleast once a week, then slowly hit the bar seen less and less - met some bud's in the place probably 2005 or so and didn't know a soul in the joint.
Hooked up with a bartender mid 1994 - not bad.

I'd say just change the door on that side to be your front entrance...people will start out on that side and it will spill over to what is now the main part. That could clear some of that space up, instead of funneling people right into more people traffic

what I can't understand is not having a website or at least a correct website if you google ivars or even go to ivars fb page the link has for years directed you to a restaurant in the northeast by the same name. no big deal I guess b/c you can't order drinks online.

The bathroom is tiny and fricking gross. What bar has a fricking one-seater where everyone waits in line where people are trying to play pool?
I had 2 buckets of beer with a few friends one night and our tab bill was over $100. When we told the girl she said someone must have ordered drinks on our table?
I've had huge bills and only ordered a few drinks there several times and so have countless other people...are you dating one of the hags that works there? Why are you so vehemently taking up for this shithole?

I'm not currently dating, nor have I ever dated anyone who worked there, but it sounds to me like you've been there once or twice, maybe three times tops. It is a bar bathroom, not a place to hang out and chit chat while spraying the other half of your bottle of aqua de gio on yourself and making sure your Bama swoop isn't crooked

My wife and her friends won't go in there anymore because of the bathrooms. I'm not complaining about that one issue but it cuts down on the women which in turn cuts down on male customers.

Has anyone been in recently? I went by the other night and I find it amazing that everything mentioned in this thread has been taken care of at the bar. New tap lines, new bathrooms, new televisions, a bar on the patio. it is really quite amazing the transformation that has occurred.
