Well shite tuscaloosa, has there ever been a situation where an LEO had to kill an "arrestee" that you would call appropriate? Please educate us on all of these so we can determine whether you are being truthful or "politically motivated".

LEO's need to be held accountable for their actions, period. When they do their job well, they should be commended. When they do it poorly, they need to be called out.
I hate that the support of LEO's has become a political thing. If a cop makes a shitty decision, I'm not going to support he or she just because of a political stance. They're dealing with people face to face, and their decisions have lifelong consequences. They need to be supported when they're doing things the right way, and called out when they're not
Good post. This country was finally coming around to true change when BLM hijacked the movement. There is a true need for police reform in this country. Unfortunately, these assholes, and all those that support them, have pushed the movement back for years. The execution of of law enforcement officers is so heinous and disgusting that we won't be able to have another national conversation about it for 25 years. Good job BLM, fricking dickheads.

How soon everyone forgets Boston...
If you will remember, none of the pretend military above actually found the bombing suspect.

Until law enforcement ends ticket quotas to suck money from citizens, they get no respect from me.

Ugh great idea but your premis is based on stupidity, BLM just wants the systemic violation of constitutional rights like driving while black to end.

However, as a whole, we need to let the investigators complete the investigation before flying off the handle.
Patience would have saved a lot of lives these past few weeks

This doesn't apply to every person?
Why is this the go-to comment when anyone says to hold them responsible?
This thread is about police and how they should be supported. not about every average joe out there.

That may very well be true but it is never espoused by the movement. The movement focuses on what it deems unjustifiable killing of black men by the police and responds with anger and rhetoric. The worst part obviously being that the majority of the time the use of lethal force was justified.

Yeah, they really suck at picking martyrs.

When the funeral processions happen, take the time to attend. Stand beside the road with your hand on your heart, or wave to them as they pass by. Hold an American flag, hold your child. There are few better ways of showing them you care than by doing this to support them in their time of grief. Teach your kids that this is the proper way to honor a hero.

I'm not going to support the police 100% of the time. When they mess up, I'm going to criticize them. When they do their job correctly, I'm going to defend them.
I will criticize bad laws and I will criticize black culture. Throwing your support behind one side all the time makes you justify things you shouldn't. "I don't advocate the killing of cops, BUT". frick that.

Wow - 27 down votes?? Very sad.

It applies to a lot of professions as well as persons, so I'm not quite sure why you keep posting this as some sort of comeback. Good cops should be praised and put up as the pillars of their communities, because they are out there going face to face with crime every single day.

I can't imagine the difficulties police face these days trying to serve and protect the public when part of the public is so inflamed for the bullshite stirred up.
I can't fathom how this is all or partly caused by a thug criminal being shot while illegally armed, same circumstances as years prior. Crazy shite. I don't understand how this segment of the population raises someone like this as a martyr.

The black community has no real leadership and they feel persecuted. It's a deadly combination. This shite has to stop.
Posted on 7/18/16 at 8:22 am to SabiDojo
Good points. I see black people in potential leadership positions saying the right things, but they seem to be largely ignored by the center mass of this thing.

29 downvotes? Wow. I hope most of those are focused on the "100%" part and think that means not speaking out against injustice by police, which I don't take that as.
