I don't care for most traditional holiday foods. Turkey, sweet potatoes, cranberry sauce, English peas, et al don't do a whole lot for me.

On the other hand I'm a huge fan of cornbread dressing if it's done right.

Have you ever had a legitimate home-made green bean casserole? Good God Almighty. The crisp green beans and a well-made cream of mushrooms mixture make for some tasty eats.

That said, I just never give a shite about dessert. Probably eat too much of everything else before it gets served.

There is absolutely nothing I enjoy eating in the typical Thanksgiving Day spread.

I just wish there would have been at least one paisan on the Mayflower.
