This is one of those movies that's better watched in standard def and a little fuzzy. Watching it in HD is sort of disorienting and doesn't work right.

I've seen more early Christmas lights/decorations this year than I ever have. Christmas lights shouldn't be turned on until Thanksgiving night or the day after. Get off my lawn!

It may be that companies that install Christmas lights are offering discounts to their customers from prior years to have them installed earlier so they can take on more new customers as the Christmas season rolls around.

Now, was there later raping and pillaging of "native Americans" by more recent arrivals? Sure! It followed a long history of "Native Americans" raping and pillaging each other, since time immemorial.
But at the time of the first thanksgiving the pilgrims were lucky to have just been surviving, (and most hadn't.)
