And by the way, we aren’t obsessing over anything. We are responding to the obsession of the left which is race.
You really going to say we are obsessed when literally every event, every book, every discrepancy is “racism”
You are a funny little fella

It took 30 seconds
You and Klerk are perpetual victimhood posters
You’ve made calling out double standards your passion. To each their own, but it just seems like a futile hobby - sorry if it’s so offensive for me to point that out
You seem to enjoy it though, so carry on.

Asians don’t fear white people. The racism they experience comes from another ethnicity.
Most people know the reality of the situation but we can’t talk about it. Anything to make white males sound scary.

Counter-obsessed, yes
You’ve basically behaved exactly the way they want you to
So congrats, I guess

We will
And you will continue to stop in and keep posting about how much you don’t care, and how we are wrong but you just don’t have the time to explain it to us simpletons
I look forward to seeing you not care in the next thread I start

By making them look like idiots? Nah

Glad we understand each other! That wasn’t so bad.
I don’t think y’all are simpletons, though.

So are we wrong to say that systemic racism is all bullshite and racism isn’t holding anyone back?
And that every discrepancy between black people and white people isn’t necessarily “racism”

Malaysia. Japan. Most Asian countries. Eastern Europe. Are far more racist than this country.
I grew up working class in rural Louisiana in the 1980’s, so I’ve heard my fair share of racist shite. I now live in an affluent suburb that’s probably 40% Asian. I have to say that some Asian folks around here say some racist arse shite. It always throws me off because I’m not expecting it.

It’s great that the media keeps hyping up all the Asian racism

I'm married to an Asian woman and I have been using the latest propaganda as a teachable moment. My wife is very naive politically and would sometimes bring up the typical orange man is evil stories that were circulating in the media. Though I'm not a supporter of Trump I would always counter stories that were pure propaganda.
Anytime BLM propaganda comes up I also point out the outright lies, obfuscation and conflation presented in the mainstream media.
Now the media has delivered the penultimate example of why they have devolved into a institution that is closer to a propaganda machine than a news source.
She now understands why we don't watch network news.
We used to watch CBS national news in the morning at breakfast before we went to work. After the BLM propaganda parade started last year that ended. At first she couldn't understand why I was fired up when the mostly peaceful protest lies started. After I pointed out the white man is evil vibe and the constant police are evil being pushed in the national news stories she finally saw the light.
The latest narrative that the white man is a threat to Asians in this country is just icing on the cake. She knows this is a lie based on years of personal experience. I don't have a case to make anymore when the false narrative is so transparent.

You are assuming liberals will face clear statistics with a level head.
They won't.
They'll tie themselves up in knots trying to "explain" it away.

We are just dumb poor white people, we can’t tell the difference between China as a country and Asian people as a race. It’s so hard to know that there is a difference between a terrible regime that is literally committing genocide against a culture of people and a race of people that don’t even all live in that country.

My Asian wife had no idea she was being "oppressed and hated" until she turned on NBC news the other day while I wasn't home because I refuse to turn on network news in the house when I am home.
She feels no different today than she did at any other time of the past 15 years she has been in the USA. No fears or concerns. She knows it's BS.

Our black neighbor calls my wife "my Japanese friend" no matter how many times we have told her she is Chinese. I think some people truly have no idea of any difference.

My wife understands that much of this is BS but she is still distracted by it. Since English is her second language I have to emphasize to her to read critically and its ok to ask questions.

There are overlapping between Asian groups but there are groups that don’t overlap. For ex, Japanese and korean overlap and are hard to tell apart. Same as Thai and laos. But a Thai and a Japanese are easy to tell apart since they don’t overlap.
