Some of these kids are severely mentally ill. We keep ignore how mentally, psychologically and emotionally damaging exposure to violent acts is. It is my personal belief that many of these kids suffer from PTSD akin to our soliders that came back from Iraq. Its breeding a generation of numb and hopeless young boys. It's an epidemic, yet most of you can only say "don't do stupid shite."

When kids are running the streets at all hours of the day and night, it's the parents fault. And don't try to blame anyone else. The entire nation saw that mother that snatched her son up off of the streets monday. She has 6 kids and is a single mother. If she can do it, why can't the rest of them?

We can give them all of the educational opportunities in the world, but if there is no one at home that cares enough to teach them right from wrong, them it doesn't matter. Kids aren't born knowing right from wrong. They have to be taught.

Stop blaming everyone except who is truly to blame. It is the patents fault and no one elses.

Like a good troll, he ignores the fact that someone that personally knows him called him out a few days ago as one of the priveleged. It's hilarious and sad that we keep responding to his trolls.

Obvious troll is obvious.

Actually that is just downright disrespectful.

ETA: and I know you didn't post that, Geaux. I just happened to see the quote in your post.

Things won't be changing anytime soon in this country. The guys in the back listen to the Ricky Smiley Morning Show every morning and I can hear it from my office. This morning they were going on and on about how the world doesn't get what some of these kids have to go through on a daily basis to get to school, get to work, etc. They were talking about how it was everyone's fault but the parents. They're will never be any type of personal responsibility movement so this shite will just keep happening. It will always be someone else's fault.

Update on whats going on?

I heard something on CNN about another passenger in the Police van say that Gray was banging his head against the car and trying to injury himself.

Literally the exact insane scenario I joked about earlier in this thread.

Perhaps, then, it would be best to remove the children from the home and place them in a state school until adulthood?

Can't be worse, right?

WaPO article has been blown to bits in less than 24 hours. Second prisoner was only in the van for five minutes or so out of the forty.

So what he saw/heard in those 5 minutes is irrelevant? Is that what you are saying?

He has shed more light on the story with his 5 mins than an entire city has in a week and after destroying millions and millions worth of property.

I don't really know. I see kids on a daily basis that are in the care of the state. Foster homes are a fricking joke and are way worse. The abuse in those places is a real problem. What has to happen is these people need to stop having fricking kids. That won't ever happen though because the mindset of so many is every kid born = $$$. Why would they go get a job at Walmart paying $10 an hour when they can just have 2-3 kids and collect $1,000+ a month?

The mom in the yellow shirt apparently has 6 kids and several different fathers to those kids.

That needs fixed right away.

If you can't afford kids you should not have them. It's insane to do otherwise. Why are we tolerating complete and utter insanity? For votes?

With demonstrations planned the next few days in most major cities, I'm honestly worried that the cops getting exonerated could be the spark to finally push one of these things nationwide. Imagine a dozen major cities looking like Baltimore did Monday night. It could easily happen.

Anything short of indictments against the officers will only incite the mob. I don't know if this timeline was well thought out.

Either way, I have lotsa scotch and snacks waiting tonight.

ETA- no new information will be released. Wise move.
