Was he on parole or probation from previous arrest? If so how much time is he backing on previous charges?
We know there was a several year span in arrest on his record. Did he do 2 years and decide he wasn't going down again?
So much we don't know about him.
I'm just saying that I do know people can intentionally injure themself.
I'll add one more thing. IF he knew he was just on the hook for a misdemeanor maybe he was trying to hurt himself in order to take a ride to the hospital in order to escape booking and just get a summons.
Again, many possibilities here but the least possible is some dirty cop going all Jean Claude VanDam on the dude and snapping his neck.

My experience has nothing to do with this. Are you disputing my comment that a person on drugs may act erratically and could injure themselves? I'm not saying that this happened or was even probable, but it is possible and should not be ruled out until proven otherwise. As far as I know this narrative hasn't been floated yet, but this would give a possible explanation to the witnesses account that he was trying to injure himself.

Am I the only one who watched that vid of single mother of 6 and American hero Toya Jackson slapping her son in the head and thought what if she's been doing this since he was a child...maybe that's where his behavior comes from
