That’s clearly not the case.
I mean, I’d give it a 6 out of 10, but his style is rigid and had no talent in painting the human condition. Buildings are easy to draw since they don’t move and are just there for you to come back days at a time. Painting human emotion is difficult though.

I’m not saying he’d be some world-renown painter, but a lot of the great works were done by people who had been doing it for decades longer than Hitler.
What you don’t understand is there were probably a thousand other painters just like him in Vienna doing that. The only places that were regular customers of Hitler were furniture stores.

Harlan Crow's Dallas mansion has a room dedicated to paintings by world leaders. He has a hitler, two or three churchill paintings and some Eisenhowers too. also quite a few by W Bush among others. Its a really cool room as part of his amazing collection of historical artifacts
