Rednecks going crazy in the crowd there, gotta love it. You can tell the driver wasn't planning for that though since he nearly hit the wall at the end

That's 100% planned with the way they have the dirt set up. With young boys, I watch way too many monster truck YouTube videos including their practice stuff. The ramps are set up like that for specific reasons.

I can't think of anything else that he could have been trying. He got on it after the first jump. Why else would he accelerate and pick the front wheel up higher before the second jump?
I bet we could check his drawers to find out the answer. Although, that move could cause a false positive.

I'm no monster truck expert, but the way he gassed it after the first jump to keep the front tires lifted tells me this was planned.
