Damn. When I was at LSU in the mid 80s tuition for 12 hours was around $1,000.

I worked at TCBY to pay that off each semester.

You will get there one day! looking back at the loan the interest was eating me alive the first 5 years. Didnt have the money early to pay it down though but as i started making more the more i could pay.

I sold some property I inherited and paid of my student loans last week. I would have paid for the rest of my life without it.

It was about $1400 for 15 hrs when I was there in mid to late 90s. My dad just wrote a check for it.
