Pack some sandwiches and quit your bitching. I've done multiple 8-10 hour flights (we use Delta, try flying on the west coast by going from BTR to ATL to LAX to LAS) and all I do is download some King of the Hill episodes, bring some snacks, a book or two, and sleep.

You realize the airline industry is basically a government agency right? How many times have they gone bankrupt, with zero progress? Fits the government perfectly.
