Sadly, I don't think we have even seen the economic fallout yet.

That's always going to be a trailing symptom. We've ruined so many small businesses and we continue to do so. How many bankruptcies have we caused across this country? Not everyone can work from home.

How many people put their life savings into a bar, restaurant, entertainment venue etc only to be ruined through no fault of their own. It's very sad to me. And it's still continuing 8 months later.

The article mentions deaths.

DGAF about their deaths back in March and April. Tell us, how are they doing now on daily deaths per million compared to lockdown countries like France, Spain, the UK, etc?

And states across the country are locking back down again.

Has any elected government official, who have been out front shutting down businesses, taken the first paycut?

And states that took extreme lockdown measures really didn't fare much better than those that didn't. I think the spread had more to do with population density, large crowd events at the time.

Why? It would mean many more Americans losing their livelihood. I don't want that at all.

Well all this money printing has taken the USD down around 9-10% compared to the Chinese Yuan in the last year so that’s neat

In the meantime the ones that turned this loose on us all, the Chinese Communist Party, still get a free pass from the media.

Those bastards should be pariahs. NO ONE should have anything to do with the fricking Chinese, No trade, anything.

You know, it's not so much I hate Biden, it's the worship of him by the likes of CNN.
Just the other day, they posted an article about how refreshing it is to have dogs in the White House.

When this first started I was scared.

Me too there was some fear, this was new and unknown.

However, the initial shut down was to "flatten the curve" to allow for the health care system to mobilize and get the necessary tools, etc. That was done and has been done. We have all the PPE, respirators, rooms, whatever that may be needed.

Protect the elderly and vulnerable, I'm all for that. The rest is overreaction due to the false narrative spread early and the politicians liking the free money and power grab resulting from that.

I've been done with this since June. I'll wear masks where required but as for the rest - done.

It's really amazing how everyone in a geographic region loses all their "morals" and starts ignoring mitigation measures at the same time.

Here’s something to ponder: if all these people are dying FROM covid, why aren’t there masses of family members getting on social media and obituary pages imploring people to take it seriously?

A. There are, a lot of them actually

B. You probably doubt Sandy Hook
