re: Italy launches investigion - tourists paid for "sniper safaris" to shoot at Bosnians

I was there, back and forth, from ‘96 to ‘00. From Albania to Kosovo. Even taking the years after into account, the shite we witnessed in the AO was some of the most brutal, heart breaking, and nightmare inducing imaginable. Both sides were just as bad, in my opinion. The total lack of regard for human life is inexcusable. The only place close was parts of Africa. I hope to never see “humans” doing these things again. I use the term human lightly…some of these pieces of shite are completely inhuman. You’re 100% correct when you say you couldn’t tell them apart. The bad guys were whoever was shooting at you on a given day. fricking chaos.

ETA: I literally lost my religion in the balkans. The things that went on there prove to me that there isn’t a fricking god. No god could sit back and just watch that kind of suffering take place, especially to the fricking kids. If there is a god, frick him for doing nothing to intervene.
