I am in the commercial construction industry. One of our clients recently paid to have roof insulation removed from several of their pre-engineered (metal) buildings around the City.

I preferred to sale them a re-roof or roof coating, but they would not hear of it. The reason for this was so they could monitor and address bullet holes in the metal roof panels on a daily basis. They determined it is more beneficial to address/ patch a fresh hole in their roofs from the casual yet normal occurrences of miscellaneous flying bullets than chasing new leaks with insulation on the underside of the roof panels for weeks/ months. The more I questioned this, the more it made sense. Their plan is to have their employees look up each morning to see what occurred over night and report to management so maintenance could address fresh holes.

I'm all for that, but that would lead to massive riots in a bunch of other cities crying racism, no justice, brutality, etc. The usual rioting for false narratives. You'd have to pretty much do that every where and the government would never want to give up that power and hand things back over to local police. The local police are more than capable of doing the job, but they need strong leadership that supports them, not some back stabbing pieces of shite that throw police under the bus at every moment. There have been much stronger policing times before and ow everything is very relaxed for the thugs...it's clear which method worked better. frick it, let them call police racist and whatever other made up shite they want. The police aren't there to be friendly to thug pos, and at least the streets will be safer again. Time to get leadership and DAs that will go in raw on them.
